Tim Quilty starts 2021 Rexit campaign with forum at a Wodonga pub
Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty is starting his 2021 Rexit campaign in Wodonga with a forum in a pub.
Mr Quilty will describe his vision for a new state and explain why it makes sense for regional communities in Victoria and NSW, during a forum at Elgin’s Hotel in Wodonga.

Tim Quilty condemns nine-month extension of Government's emergency powers
Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty has condemned the passing of legislation to extend the Victorian Government’s emergency powers.
Victoria is now under another nine months of the threat of snap lockdowns, panicked border crossings and unwarranted fines after the Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment (State of Emergency Extension) Bill 2021 passed by just one vote, 19 to 18, in the Upper House.

Tim Quilty finds common ground at water conference
Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty found common ground during a water conference today, meeting with MPs from Victoria and NSW over brekkie.
Mr Quilty hosted the meeting with Victorian Upper House colleague Tania Maxwell and NSW MP Helen Dalton, who represents the Murray electorate on the other side of the river from Mr Quilty.

Tim Quilty joins discussion examining problems created by Murray Darling Basin Plan
Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty learned from water and economic experts during a conference examining the impacts of the Murray Darling Basin Plan today.
The two-day conference in Rutherglen brought academics, industry leaders and politicians together to look for solutions to the myriad problems arising from the plan.

Tim Quilty says his opposition to gender conversion bill is based on freedoms
Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty has reiterated his opposition to the Andrews Government’s gender conversion therapy bill.
The Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Bill 2020 seeks to ban practices which force members of the LGBTQIA+ to undergo conversion therapy, and will be debated in the Upper House this week.

The Victorian Government will this week rush through legislation in an effort to extend its powers to December 15.
