Tim Quilty calls on Police Minister to stop the issue of 'overzealous' social-distance fines
Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty is calling on Police Minister Lisa Neville to stop the issuing of any more frivolous social-distance fines.
Mr Quilty believes Victoria Police will lose public goodwill and become a laughing stock if overzealous officers continue to issue fines to people who are doing nothing wrong.

Let people fish and hunt, say Liberal Democrats colleagues Tim Quilty and David Limbrick
Liberal Democrats MPs, Tim Quilty for Northern Victoria, and David Limbrick for the South Eastern Metropolitan region are pressuring the Victorian Government to allow people to fish and hunt. This follows an announcement yesterday that fishing would continue to be allowed in NSW.
Tim Quilty says that the rules in Victoria allow people to leave their house to get food or to exercise – and fishing and hunting should fall under this category.

Tim Quilty closes Wodonga office, but is concerned by coronavirus restrictions
Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty has closed his electorate office in Wodonga as part of the increasing measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus, but is concerned that people’s freedoms are being rapidly eliminated.
As the number of cases in Victoria reached 821 and stage three restrictions were introduced, Mr Quilty took the decision to protect the health of his office staff and the public.

The Legislative Council of Victoria today supported Liberal Democrats Member for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty’s motion calling on the Andrews Government to increase funding for the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC).
Mr Quilty introduced the motion in Parliament calling on the Victorian Government to increase funding for IBAC, and it passed unopposed.

Tim Quilty says Local Government Bill will increase chances of council corruption

Mr Quilty, speaking at the Wild Deer and Duck Hunting Expo in Bendigo over the weekend, said he is more determined than ever to be a voice for rural Victoria after hearing from hunters who shared their experiences with him.
